Designed as a forever home on Shuswap lake, Stillwater marks a new chapter for a couple leaving city life behind for a quieter connection to nature. The home was created with their everyday life at its heart, while making room for years of family gatherings, visiting grandchildren and time spent together at the lake.

Inspired by the home’s architecture and timber details, the interiors take a contemporary approach to natural materials, clean lines and intentional detail. Deep, Scandinavian-inspired wood tones create a grounded backdrop, layered with stone, subtle texture and moments of blue drawn from the surrounding water and landscape. Unique design elements were thoughtfully integrated throughout, giving the home a strong sense of individuality while remaining warm, understated and enduring.

Stillwater is contemporary yet deeply connected to its setting, a home designed for a slower pace of life, meaningful gatherings, and intentional living.
