TANYA WASSEN
Tanya brings over 16 years of experience in the construction & design industry to Nëvo Design House Inc. and is qualified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) as a professional Interior Designer.
Prior to completing her bachelor’s degree in interior design, she worked in Kamloops for a high-profile developer & contractor where she gained extensive experience in construction phases and management.
After completing her schooling she worked as a commercial interior designer, gaining experience in office, hospitality and hotel design. She decided that after 5 years in Calgary it was time to come back to BC and land in Kelowna.
There she worked in two of the best firms in the Okanagan on numerous offices, restaurants, boutiques, multi-family developments, and single-family custom homes throughout the Okanagan and Alberta. In 2017, she moved back to her hometown of Kamloops.
Here is where she decided to venture on her own and start Spot On Interior Design, which she ran successfully until her new venture Nëvo Design House Inc. started. She works closely with her clients to ensure that their vision and goals of their space are met.
Her personal design style can be described as modern elegance and includes clean lines, beautiful texture, and detailed and timeless design.
When she’s not designing you can find her spending time with her husband, 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter throughout the wonderful areas around Kamloops.

Cristalee Murdoch
Cristalee has an extensive background in designing high-end residential homes in the Kamloops region. The founder of Clay & Oak Design, Cristalee has been designing since 2015 and has won numerous local and national awards for her projects.
Known for her modern-casual style and her attention to detail, Cristalee has a passion for expertly designing inspirational homes that breathe authenticity to her clients. Growing up rurally in the Kamloops area, she developed a strong appreciation for local and expertly crafted finishes.
Cristalee holds dear to the craftsman’s stories of their trade and thrives on their expertise to develop ideas for her projects.
When not designing you can find Cristalee attending many sporting events with her two teenage daughters, hiking the beautiful BC trails and playing at the Shuswap.

Interior Designer
Victoria Stephens
Victoria is the newest addition to the NDH Team. Victoria’s passion for interior design was sparked from the process of thirteen different home moves during her childhood years.
With each new move, she was inspired by the architecture of the home and how it could affect the way her family interacted.
Victoria achieved her certificates of Interior Design and Kitchen and Bath Design with distinction soon after developing an extensive career in design by working for prominent interior design firms in BC and in Saskatchewan.
Originally from BC she has spent four years experiencing the prairies. Along with her husband she now looks forward to being relocated back in BC, to the beautiful Kamloops area.

Interior Designer
Kira Hutchinson
Growing up on Vancouver Island and around her mom’s home wood shop, Kira developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and creativity from a young age. That early exposure sparked her love for design and the satisfaction of building something by hand.
Kira studied Architectural Technologies at the Visual college of Art and Design in Calgary. Entering the program, she had her sights set on tailoring her skills towards heavy construction, yet upon completion she left with a newfound love for tailoring interiors to those that engage with the space. Now an interior designer with a background in commercial millwork, Kira combines her technical knowledge with an eye for warmth, texture, and livable beauty. She firmly believes great design should feel personal, timeless, and deeply connected to the people who live in it.
When she’s not at the office, you can often find her on the golf course, at the driving range or enjoying a social outing with friends and family.

Chief Barketing Officer
Kevin
Kevin’s main role is to provide cuddles and to lounge around the office.
You may see him looking out our windows, sleeping on the job, or hanging his head out of the back of Tanya’s SUV. He is eager to please and ready for hugs.
