Inspired by the rugged sophistication of a mountain retreat, The Ranch is a refined interpretation of modern ranch living. Nestled alongside a forest and overlooking rolling mountains and a tranquil fishing lake, the home reflects the beauty of its surroundings and the authenticity of life on the land.

The client’s vision for his forever home was deeply personal: a comfortable, unpretentious retreat that celebrated his ranch and relaxed way of life, while quietly expressing an appreciation for exceptional design and craftsmanship. Every space was thoughtfully considered around how he lives, the views he wanted to wake up to, and the connection between indoors and out.

Central to the design was the reclamation of timbers from an original farmhouse on the property, giving new life to materials rich in history and character. These timbers became the foundation for a palette of reclaimed barnwood, rustic woods, concrete, raw metals, and shou sugi ban, thoughtfully balanced with contemporary forms and detailing.

Involved from the onset, Nëvo Design House collaborated closely with the building designer on final space planning, exterior finishes, and a cohesive architectural vision. Our scope extended through all interior layouts, detailing, material selections, and furnishings, ensuring every element felt intentional and connected.

Expansive glazing, seamless corner windows, and integrated outdoor living spaces blur the boundaries between inside and out. With horses grazing, cattle roaming, and chickens wandering the property, The Ranch is a celebration of easy living, thoughtful craftsmanship, and understated luxury. A home where high design feels effortless and the landscape remains at the heart of it all.
